Beyond the Trail
The streets of most towns in the Tuscan region are medieval, and, therefore very narrow. Porches are non-existent so the residence decorate the alley in front of their homes. This is a perfect example of the wonderful colors and magical sites that are around every corner. We stumbled upon this scene while in Volterra, another medieval town, famous for its alabaster. The image was made with a Nikon D70s and a 24-120mm VR lens.
