Beyond the Trail
San Gimignano is a small medieval town in the heart of the Tuscan region of Italy. It is known for its tall towers that litter its skyline. Once numbering almost seventy, 11 still stand and one, Tower Grossa, is accessible to the public. My wife and I made our way up to the top of the tower to watch the sunset on the wonderful town of San Gimignano and the beautiful Tuscan landscape.
