Beyond the Trail
I was walking through Curry Village while doing some scouting for my Yosemite in Spring workshop that was about to start the following day. The Dogwoods bloom each May in the park and are one of my favorite subjects. While on my search I noticed these small white blossoms isolated against the dark bark of the Redwood tree and decided to make an image. I tried a few different compositions and placements of the dogwoods against the tree but decided I liked this one the best.
