Beyond the Trail
This is another one of the beautiful beaches in the Big Sur area. I arrived at the beach rather late and was lucky to find this composition quickly. I scrambled to set up my tripod and camera before the light disappeared. I metered off the rock in the foreground as my important shadow area placing it in a zone IV and used a graduated neutral density filter to help with the sky.
